Sport Science Taster Day - Beyond the Game: Careers in Sport, Coaching and Performance
Are your students passionate about sport, health, or human performance? Our Taster Day offers an exciting, hands-on introduction to studying these subjects at university.

Students will explore areas including sport and exercise, science, sport coaching and PE, strength and conditioning, and sports therapy. Through a mix of practical sessions and lab-based activities, they’ll experience topics such as physiology, injury prevention and rehabilitation, and sport psychology.

Designed to reflect real university learning, the day gives students the opportunity to work in specialist facilities, engage with tutors, and hear from current students about their experiences. They'll also learn more about career pathways in sport, health, performance and education.

It’s the perfect opportunity for students to start imagining their future in the sport and exercise industry.

Biomedical Sciences, Exercise & Health Science Taster Day
Let yout students roll up their sleeves, get hands-on, and discover just how exciting biomedical, health, and exercise sciences can be!

From testing samples in the lab to taking on fun fitness challenges, they’ll explore how science helps keep us healthy – and why it’s so important in the real world. With our current students as their guides, your pupils can ask questions, try out experiments, and get a sneak peek at all the amazing careers in healthcare science.

From Curiosity to Career: A STEM Experience Day
This hands-on event invites sixth form or college students to explore the world of STEM through workshops, live demonstrations and real-world challenges across psychology, sport science, computer science, life sciences and forensic science.

Led by expert tutors and supported by current university students, participants will work in specialist labs and teaching spaces, gaining insight into how these subjects can solve real-world problems and shape everyday life.

Students will also learn about university study and explore potential career pathways, helping them to build confidence, curiosity and a clearer understanding of the exciting opportunities available in STEM.
