From testing samples in the lab to taking on fun fitness challenges, they’ll explore how science helps keep us healthy – and why it’s so important in the real world. With our current students as their guides, your pupils can ask questions, try out experiments, and get a sneak peek at all the amazing careers in healthcare science.
NHS and Social Care Exploration Taster Day (KS5)
Inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals by giving your students an insight into careers in health and social care.
Through interactive scenarios, activities and engaging talks, students will learn about the impact of working in healthcare, and the opportunities available to them. They’ll also hear from current students, giving them a great perspective on university study.
NHS and Social Care Exploration Taster Day (KS4)
Introduce Year 10-11 students to the range of careers in healthcare: from nursing and midwifery to paramedic science and social care.
Through practical, hands-on sessions, students will explore the vital roles in healthcare and how they can make a difference. They’ll also hear from current students, ask questions, and gain insight into different career pathways.
Science Exploration Taster Day (KS5)
Get hands-on in our SuperLab. This Taster Day is designed to inspire the next generation of professionals in medical science and pharmaceutical science. Using real-world case studies, students will explore the critical role of science in healthcare. They’ll also meet current students, ask questions, and discover the many career possibilities in healthcare science.
Science Exploration Taster Day (KS4)
Introduce Year 10-11 students to the exciting world of medical science and pharmaceutical science - and the vital role these fields play in healthcare.
Using our SuperLab, students will explore how science is used to understand diseases, develop medicines, and improve patient care. They’ll also be able to meet current students to ask them questions about their course.
STEM Taster Day - From Curiosity to Career
This hands-on event invites sixth form or college students to explore the world of STEM through workshops, live demonstrations and real-world challenges across psychology, sport science, computer science, life sciences and forensic science.
Led by expert tutors and supported by current university students, participants will work in specialist labs and teaching spaces, gaining practical insight into how these subjects can solve real-world problems and shape everyday life.
Students will also learn about university study and explore potential career pathways, helping them to build confidence, curiosity and a clearer understanding of the exciting opportunities available in STEM.
