Writtle University College and ARU have merged. Writtle’s full range of college, degree, postgraduate and short courses will still be delivered on the Writtle campus. See our guide to finding Writtle information on this site.

Study skills

Study Skills Plus offers workshops, one to one appointments and online resources for all aspects of academic learning development.

Study Skills Plus is open to all ARU students. We work with students who are achieving high marks but want to reach the next level as well as students who may be struggling with their course. If you haven’t studied in the UK before or are returning to study after a long gap you will find our service very beneficial.

We can help you with:

  • research and referencing
  • academic writing skills
  • organisational skills
  • numeracy skills
  • academic English language skills
  • setting up a study group.
