Environment and Land Management Taster Day - Green Futures in Land, Environment & Sustainability
Do you have students who are passionate about the natural world, sustainability or the future of food and land use? Our Taster Day offers an inspiring introduction to studying these subjects at university.

Through hands-on sessions across our campus farm and specialist field facilities, students will explore areas such as crop science, plant biology, livestock management, conservation and sustainable land use. They’ll discover how science, innovation and business come together to tackle some of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges.

Led by our expert tutors and supported by current undergraduate students, this events offers a genuine insight into university learning and student life. Participants will also explore potential degree pathways and careers in agriculture, horticulture, environmental management and sustainability.

Life Sciences Taster Day - Life Science Pathways: Degrees, Careers & Beyond
Step into our labs and explore how we study the human body, disease and the natural world.

Ideal for those considering degrees in biomedical science, animal and environmental biology, or cime and forensic science, this hands-on day allows students to take part in interactive sessions led by our tutors.

Students will also hear directly from current undergraduates about their experiences of university life, gaining valuable insight into what it’s like to study at ARU. They’ll discover how their interests in biology, human health and forensic investigation can lead to rewarding careers in healthcare, research, environmental science and beyond.
