Our alumni are part of the ARU community for life, and many like to give something back by helping current students.
Here are just some of the ways you can get involved.
Come back onto campus and give an inspirational talk to current students on your area of professional expertise.
From talking to small student groups to employability events such as Global Brand Leaders or even a guest lecture, we’d love to welcome you back. If you’d like to get involved in this way, email [email protected].
Our International Alumni Ambassadors are a network of volunteer alumni around the world who represent us in their home country. They’re happy to be the point of contact between ARU and alumni in their country, helping us to maintain our relationship with our international alumni and those living and working overseas. Our ambassadors help host events for fellow alumni, serve as a contact for students in their area, and may assist our academic staff or students when they are travelling or studying abroad.
We’d like to expand our Ambassador Network to cover as many countries as possible. Take a look at our list of Ambassadors and if there isn't one in your country and you’d like to volunteer, please email [email protected].
The ARU Students’ Union Volunteering Service supports all alumni in their first year after graduation. If you'd like to volunteer, the first step is to arrange a one-to-one meeting with a Students' Union Volunteer Coordinator: find contact details online.
You can then visit the ARU Students' Union Volunteering page to browse opportunities, log your hours and skills, and develop a skills transcript.
Could your organisation offer a work placement or internship to one of our current students? Placements and internships bring fresh enthusiasm to your business, and provide students with invaluable experience to boost their future careers. Please email [email protected] to find out more.
