Writtle University College and ARU have merged. Writtle’s full range of college, degree, postgraduate and short courses will still be delivered on the Writtle campus. See our guide to finding Writtle information on this site.

Subject tasters

Group of students in design studio

Discover our undergraduate degree courses with a subject taster, available to Year 12 and 13 students (and equivalent) across the East of England. They're the perfect introduction to university.

Tasters are available across a range of subjects from art, design, business and computing, to the sciences and health, plus many more. They're offered to groups of students both on and off campus.

Interested in a subject taster?

School and college tutors can get in touch with our team and we'll endeavour to meet your requirements. Please email [email protected].

Upcoming taster sessions

Every year, we run taster days for our nursing, midwifery, paramedic science, operating department practice, social work and medicine degrees.

Taster days are a great way to find out more about a course, meet tutors and hear from current students about their experience at ARU. They usually run between October–January.
