HCPC - Health & Care Professions Council logo

This resource is designed for clinical staff who support and assess Paramedic Science students studying at ARU.

It will provide you with the information you need to successfully support and assess our students on both the DipHE and BSc courses. This can be your first point of contact for:

  • the course curriculum
  • supervisor and assessor updates
  • student paramedic support
  • placements and practice assessment documentation
  • useful links and contacts.

If there is something else you need help with, or you think there is other information which may be of benefit, please email [email protected]

Reporting sickness and absence

It is your responsibility as a registered professional to inform ARU of a student's sickness or absence and to ensure this is recorded on the student's timesheet.

The University has a duty to inform the professional body of the exact hours a student has experienced in the clinical area and it is therefore important that accurate records are kept.

Please inform the University of a student's absence by emailing [email protected] stating the student's name, clinical site and reason for absence.
