We were named Times Higher Education University of the Year 2023. We've also been awarded a Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework – a reflection of the outstanding education we offer our students.

Careers

Learn up-to-the-minute skills, with a major focus on practical, hands-on learning to get you set up for a career in business.

You’ll have opportunities to gain a professional marketing qualification or award, take an optional placement year, and study abroad for a semester.

Graduation doesn’t need to be the end of your time with us. You might decide to stay at ARU and study for a Masters such as our Marketing MSc or our renowned Master of Business Administration MBA. With our Alumni Scholarship, you’ll even get 20% off your fees as an ARU graduate.

Teaching and modules

Our first-year modules are designed to develop the knowledge you already have, and give you a broad understanding of the key concepts of business and organisational management.

In years 2 and 3, you’ll turn your focus to specialist marketing knowledge and skills as you learn about consumer behaviour, retail and experiences, and advertising. At the same time, you’ll continue to build your more general business know-how.

Finally, you’ll complete your major project, where you’ll work in an interdisciplinary team to address a current, complex business issue.

Modules are subject to change and availability, and may vary by location. If you have the choice of optional modules, these are indicated with a *.
