The need to adapt and incorporate the ever-growing field of AI and its technologies into current business practices is putting pressure on industries to invest in their legacy systems. This course has been designed in response to the high demand for experts in machine learning, artificial intelligence learning, data analysis and modelling.
Graduation doesn’t have to be the end of your time with us. You could choose to continue your academic career with a research programme at ARU, such as our PhD in Computer Science or a Professional Doctorate in Science and Technology. Take advantage of our Alumni Scholarship and save £400 on your fees.
Get to grips with the latest developments in AI and data science.
You’ll gain an understanding of semantic data technologies, and learn how to structure semantic data, develop ontological models, and use these to create applications to analyse and add value to data and support decision-making.
You’ll also explore machine learning, and applications of neural computing and deep learning to big data in physical and biological sciences, finance and social sciences.
You’ll complete your Master’s with a Postgraduate Major Project – a substantial research project focussed on a relevant topic that interests you.
Modules are subject to change and availability, and may vary by location. If you have the choice of optional modules, these are indicated with a *.
You can choose to study with us over two years (full-time), and take Professional Experience modules in Year 2, with a Preparation for Professional Experience module in Year 1. You'll complete your Postgraduate Major Project in Year 2.
