If you're studying Medicine at ARU, you'll be based in our purpose-built School of Medicine.
The £20m building houses a mock hospital ward, a GP simulation suite including consultation rooms, and an Anatomy Centre.
Take a look around.
If you want to work in medicine, surgery or pathology, a thorough knowledge of anatomy is essential.
Our Anatomy Centre features:
You can explore the structure and function of the human body in a state-of-the-art anatomy laboratory. Led by tutors and skilled technicians, you'll use dissection on Thiel embalmed cadavers – people who have donated their bodies to medical science. You're then able to apply what you've learnt in clinical settings.
One of our medical students, Fatima, has been blogging about her experiences in the Anatomy Centre.
