Study at an award-winning university
We're the Times Higher Education (THE) University of the Year. We've also been awarded a Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework – a reflection of the outstanding education we offer our students.
Are you in Year 12? You could join us for a real taste of life as a Law student with our free residential experience this July. Places are limited – find out more and apply for our Amplify Your Summer Business and Law Programme in Cambridge or Chelmsford.
A law degree teaches you to comprehend, critically evaluate and apply the regulations and frameworks that society sets up to ensure justice and stability.
Our law degree develops your legal knowledge, makes you learn from professionals and gain practical experience. It provides the seven core foundations of legal knowledge and meets the requirements of the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board for a career as a solicitor or barrister in the UK, as well as giving you discounted access to BARBRI SQE preparation courses.
If you hope to use your legal skills in other areas – such as business, finance, policy making or public service – our law course will give you the transferable skills you need.

"The ARUCPD mooting module is one of the best extracurricular activities. It develops my confidence, the way of arguing and is useful practice for a proper court case. My team worked really hard on the case and when the time of the competition came, we were prepared. I am really grateful I took this module!”LARISA
