This LLB (Hons) is a qualifying law degree, which also gives you insights into politics and political strategy.
Explore topics including human rights, migration, global feminism, and criminal justice. You'll work on Live Briefs, which involve courtroom experience, and advise real clients in our award-winning Law Clinic.
You can tailor the course to your own interests through a range of optional modules.
This flexible course will suit you if you want to qualify as a solicitor or barrister, or work in areas such as diplomacy, NGOs, politics or journalism.
Accredited course
This degree provides the seven core foundations of legal knowledge and meets the requirements of the Bar Standards Board for a career as a solicitor or barrister in the UK.

You’ll take part in a range of assessments where you apply legal and political knowledge to real-world issues and scenarios.
Assessments are structured to develop your critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills – while preparing you for the demands of professional environments.
Our assessment strategy builds your confidence and capabilities year by year. It includes:
written academic assessments to evaluate critical thinking, legal reasoning and research skills
professional writing to simulate real-world legal and business communication
oral and communication-based assessments to develop advocacy, public speaking, collaboration, and communication skills
exam-based assessments to asses core knowledge
independent research work.
