MSc Finance and Financial Technologies

Whether you have extensive experience working in finance or are new to the field, our course will equip you with both the timeless and emerging know-how you need to get ahead in this fast-moving industry.

You'll study a range of topics including finance, fintech, data analytics, innovation management, corporate governance, and sustainability, opening up career possibilities and helping you see the big picture – whether that's of different functions within your own organisation, or trends in the global marketplace.

You'll graduate with not only a comprehensive understanding of finance principles and the latest fintech trends, but demonstrable skills in financial data analysis and interpretation, problem-solving, informed decision-making, and more.

There's also the option to study with us for two years, and gain valuable experience in Year 2, with a choice of professional experience modules.

Our Master's course is designed to equip you with theoretical understanding of finance, financial markets, investment, and the latest trends in the financial world, alongside practical skills in financial modelling, data analysis, coding, critical analysis, decision-making, problem-solving, report-writing, and communication, whether you're working independently or as part of a team.

These skills are in demand in fintech, as well as more traditional finance jobs such as quantitative analysis, banking, insurance, and other financial services. You could also start up your own business. With our start-up hub and annual business competition, if you’ve got a great idea, you don’t even need to wait for graduation to make it happen.
