With a background rooted in advanced degrees in finance, Wei's passion for sustainable development has led her to explore the intersection of finance and sustainability, particularly focusing on the potential of fintech innovations to drive positive environmental and social impact. As a senior lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University, she collaborates with industry partners to shape policies and practices for sustainability, driving forward-thinking solutions to contemporary challenges. Serving as the course director of a postgraduate-level accounting and finance program, Wei is devoted to ensuring graduates are equipped with the skills needed to thrive in today's dynamic job market.

Teaching

Wei has a wide range of teaching experience on different postgraduate and undergraduate subjects, including Big Data Analytics, financial data analytics, financial management, quantitative methods, big data fundamentals and financial investment analysis. She has been constantly reflecting on her practical teaching skills, passionate about her subject areas with a specialised interest to develop student subject skills and transferable skills such as critical thinking, effective communication and creative problem solving.
