Sustainable Sainji dates, costs and logistics

This page will tell you more about dates, costs and pre-travel arrangements for the Sustainable Sainji programme.

Dates

Provisionally these will be 23 March–06 April 2024.

We may need to leave a day earlier or arrive a day later depending on flights.

Briefing meetings

Three briefing meetings, dates to be confirmed.

You must attend all briefing meetings to be part of the trip.

Costs

Trip fee: approximately £700 (subject to flight costs being published in due course). This covers your international flights, internal travel, accommodation and most food.
 
Fundraising minimum: £200 to cover materials etc for the work you will be doing.
 
Total cost: approximately £900.

Notes

  1. You will also need to budget for any immunisations which are not free on the NHS (costs vary), and for a visa (around £20).
  2. You will be expected to attend the briefing meetings (dates above) to discuss what we will be doing in Sainji before we leave.
  3. Your passport must be valid for six months after the return date of the trip.
