IT Services

The Information Technology Services team at ARU works collaboratively to provide digital solutions, IT services and classroom support to students and staff across four campuses and a range of partnerships.

Our aim is to deliver technology solutions that help achieve the best possible learning and research outcomes through effective and innovative use of technology – from classroom/lab technology to complex, integrated business and administrative systems and electronic resources – and an excellent digital experience for students, from application to graduation.

We're split into three key areas, each led by a director committed to delivering our transformational Digital Strategy and excellent customer service:

• Infrastructure & Operations
• Applications & Digital Development
• Projects & Planning

Current and recent projects include:

• implementing new CRM and ESM systems
• application virtualisation
• rollout of Microsoft 365 and Teams soft telephony
• redevelopment of the University's student record system
• introduction of a new research costing tool
• moving further into the cloud with Microsoft Azure
