Global Entrepreneur Accelerator Programme (GEAP)

The Global Entrepreneur Accelerator Programme (GEAP) is an initiative by AREA at ARU, created to empower international graduating students and recent graduates who aspire to develop innovative business ventures in the UK.

The programme provides a structured environment for participants to explore, design, and validate their entrepreneurial ideas transforming concepts into viable and scalable business plans. Through tailored mentoring, practical workshops, and 1-1 guidance, GEAP supports participants in taking their entrepreneurial ambitions from concept to reality.

Programme overview

The GEAP will run from February to May 2026, offering an intensive and collaborative learning experience that helps participants refine their business propositions, strengthen innovation potential, and gain the knowledge required to navigate the UK’s entrepreneurial ecosystem*.

Participants will:

  • Explore what makes a business idea innovative, viable, and scalable
  • Work closely with expert mentors, sector specialists, and business advisors
  • Engage in practical sessions on business modelling, pitching, and market validation
  • Develop a market-ready business plan that can attract future investment or registration

Eligibility criteria

Current students - International students graduating by May 2026

Recent graduates - International graduates from ARU who completed studies within the past 6 months.

Open to all academic disciplines and all ARU campuses.

Only 25 places are available, with an additional 10 places on the waiting list.

*Participation in the programme does not guarantee any visa endorsement or outcome. Graduates wishing to continue developing their ventures in the UK beyond the programme will need to secure the necessary visa independently. Participants will be signposted to appropriate guidance through AREA’s partnerships with EEUK and recognised support providers.
