Writtle University College and ARU have merged. Writtle’s full range of college, degree, postgraduate and short courses will still be delivered on the Writtle campus. See our guide to finding Writtle information on this site.

International Alumni Scholarship

If you’re already an undergraduate student at ARU and want to move onto a postgraduate course, you may be eligible for our International Alumni Scholarship.

We will automatically consider you for this scholarship if you have successfully completed a full honours degree at ARU, and apply to study a Masters degree, our PG Dip Legal Practice Course, or a postgraduate research programme.

Please note: this scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarships or early payment discounts.

£3,000 in your first year of study.

This scholarship is a fee discount. We'll deduct it from the tuition fees for your course.

If you're studying an undergraduate or postgraduate taught course, we will award the scholarship in your first year.

If you're studying a research programme, we will award the scholarship each year that you pay full tuition fees, up to a maximum of three years.

To be eligible for our International Alumni Scholarship you must be:

  • an international student
  • starting a postgraduate taught or postgraduate research course in the 2023/24 academic year
  • studying full-time, unless there are exceptional circumstances preventing full-time study
  • an Anglia Ruskin University alumnus. We include our predecessor institutions in this, and there is no time limit on when you completed your previous studies.

You can apply for this scholarship if you are studying our PG Dip Legal Practice Course.

Degree apprenticeships, foundation degrees, distance learning or work-based degrees, Postgraduate Certificates, Postgraduate Diplomas, students applying to ARU College, and students joining a Masters with credit are excluded.

How to apply

There is no need to apply. You'll automatically receive our International Alumni Scholarship if you meet the eligibility criteria.
