Background

Clare’s background is as a therapeutic radiographer, working most recently within the community giving information and support to individuals’ pre and post treatment. She initially moved into teaching ten years ago to teach Radiography.

Currently Clare teaches on the Foundation degree and Masters degree programmes covering issues such as law and ethics in healthcare, learning to communicate effectively and becoming aware of stereotypes and prejudice in healthcare. The courses that she teaches on are based in the classroom and online therefore her interests and publications consider innovations that increase interaction and communication within both these environments.

Clare is studying for a MA in Medical Ethics and Law at Keele University.
