Low vision

Low vision research main picture

We are leading research projects investigating the effects of low vision and vision loss.

Gait and activities of daily living

By capturing movement and gaze behaviour, we're gathering insight in the problems that people with low vision can encounter with everyday task performance – with the aim of addressing these problems through targeted interventions. Read more about our research into gait and activities of daily living.

Effects of reduced vision on sound perception

What happens to hearing when vision is lost? Our work focusses on vision and hearing, exploring how spatial hearing abilities change following visual loss. Read more about our research into the effects of reduced vision on sound perception.
