Overview

This flexible course is designed for ARU School Mentors who are looking to develop a deeper understanding of mentoring trainee teachers.

Through our School Mentor Conference, online activities and supplementary reading, together we'll cover everything that trainees need to know about pupil learning, how your trainees can be supported to manage and assess their own learning; and how you can help them develop professional behaviours for a successful career in teaching.

Who should attend?

This course is currently only available to School Mentors who are supporting an ARU BEd Primary Education (with QTS) trainee.

Study for 12 weeks over May – July 2025.
