Taster days and sessions

Get a head start on your future at ARU. ARU Taster Days are designed to help you explore your subject and see how it prepares you for future careers.

What happens at a Taster Day?

You’ll meet lecturers and current students and take part in Taster sessions to get a feel for what it's like to study your course here. Many Taster Days include hands-on or subject-specific activities, giving you the chance to experience teaching in action and explore specialist facilities. You may also receive practical advice on applications and next steps, and for some courses, guidance on interviews and career-focused preparation.
