This apprenticeship is an ideal route to gain qualified, HCPC-registered hearing aid dispensers. Other jobs roles include audiologist or hearing specialist.
You'll need to provide a registered HCPC mentor to support the apprentice. You can use the apprenticeship to grow your existing team or create a new role to bring in fresh talent.

Develop the skills and knowledge to become an HCPC registered hearing aid dispenser.
Once you qualify, you’ll work independently as a hearing aid dispenser. Registering with the HCPC can take your career to a new level. Other jobs roles include audiologist or hearing specialist.
On successful completion, your apprentice will gain registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. HCPC registration demonstrates that apprentices meet standards for training, professional skills, behaviour and health.
This course is accredited by the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). When you graduate, you’ll be able to register and get to work as a hearing aid dispenser. You’ll also receive the Health and Care Professions Council Level 5 award.
Employers set out the person specifications for the role, but apprentices will need to meet our entry requirements to be accepted onto this course.

**We will also consider applicants with non-standard qualifications if you have a significant amount of relevant experience, are well-supported by your employer, and demonstrate the ability to manage university-level study.
Degree apprenticeships are a smart investment. You can reinvest Levy funds to cover the cost of an apprenticeship or receive funding support from the Government.
If you operate in England and your annual payroll is over £3m, you pay a levy of 0.5% of your payroll into a levy account.
Apprenticeships are paid for by your employer. You won’t pay any tuition fees on this course.
