Talent development

The apprenticeship is aimed at experienced clinicians working in areas like healthcare services, community health, and residential care.

Apprentices must also hold current registration with one of the statutory regulators of health and care professions.

The apprenticeship route allows us to train advanced practitioners in a structured way while also supporting their personal growth. Apprentices are the future of the NHS, and mentoring them is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.

Advanced Clinical Practitioner apprentice Daniela

Having a growth mindset has been crucial. I started this programme with very little clinical examination experience, but I’ve learned that with determination and support, you can achieve far more than you think possible.
