If you have a passion for working with animals our T Level in Animal Management and Behaviour could be for you. As a student at Writtle College you'll gain an understanding of a broad range of issues and topics relating to the animal management industry.

As a student at Writtle College you’ll use our animal studies centre, with its aquatic, reptile and companion animal rooms. It’s part of our rural 150-hectare campus, which, as well as housing small animals, is home to horses and farm livestock.

You’ll know how to care for a wide range of species, understand health and nutrition and apply conservation strategies that make a real impact. Plus, with business management, communication and networking skills under your belt, plus strong links to the animal industry via your placement, you’ll be ready for a number of roles in animal care and management.

Hands-on learning

Join an Animal Management course at Writtle College and:

Options at ARU in Writtle – which shares a campus with Writtle College – include BSc (Hons) Animal Management (Zoo and Wildlife Conservation), BSc (Hons) Animal Management (Pet Behaviour and Welfare), and BSc (Hons) Animal Science. Options at ARU in Cambridge include BSc (Hons) Biology and BSc (Hons) Zoology.
