Introducing our Train Smart seminars

The Cambridge Centre for Sport and Exercise Sciences at ARU, in collaboration with Advance Performance, hosted a series of free TRAIN SMART seminars in 2019.

The TRAIN SMART seminars offered training tips from our consultancy experts that can benefit you in your own health, exercise and training endeavours. They ran quarterly, with each having a different theme, and discussed various ideas around how to improve your exercise and training, including nutrition, motivational and technology-based tips.

Each seminar featured several short talks from both Anglia Ruskin University and Advance Performance speakers, followed by an open Q&A discussion with the audience. There was a focus on how contemporary science can help support your health and fitness goals, whether it be starting out, training for your first event or even trying to obtain a personal best.
