Health and Care Summer Expo

We are excited to share that we are holding the Health and Care Summer Expo in collaboration with the Health and Care Academy (Essex) at our Chelmsford campus.

End time: 2:10 PM

Year 10/Level 2

During this event, attendees will:

• Participate in interactive and engaging mini workshops covering health-based careers such as nursing, midwifery, paramedic science and medicine
• Explore the Health and Care Exhibition, where NHS and Social Care staff will provide information, guidance, and interactive displays about various career pathways in the NHS
• Attend interactive mini lectures with healthcare professionals
• Have a university campus tour

Year 12/Level 3

Students can choose from one pathway:

• Option 1: Medicine, Pharmaceutical Science, Medical Science.

• Option 2: NHS and Social Care Careers including Nursing, Midwifery, Paramedic Science and Social Work.

Students will take part in interactive subject based taster sessions in our skills labs to learn more about the course pathways at university. All students will also have the opportunity to explore the exhibition throughout the day.
