It’s Valentine’s, the day to celebrate romantic love! So, calling all couples, did you run out of ideas on what to do in Cambridge with your significant other? Here are our top tips for you.

Dining

Top restaurants on a student budget in the city.

Old Bicycle Shop is the perfect place for an afternoon coffee date, appreciate the surroundings whilst taking a break from the cold weather and enjoying coffee and cake.

Millworks is the ideal destination for a breakfast date. Enjoy a full English whilst overlooking the river; it's a unique dining experience. We would highly recommend a visit.

St Andrew’s Street has all the chain restaurants you could ever want to woo your date. Perfect if you can find student discount or 2 for 1 vouchers also! There’s Nandos, Wagamana, Pizza Hut and so many more.

Wining

Quiet spots for a drink or two.

Don’t want to go out for dinner, or looking for somewhere for a drink before your dinner reservation? The Cambridge University Wine Bar is the perfect location. With so many wines to choose from, alongside non-alcoholic options, it’s a lovely venue to enjoy a drink on Valentine’s Day with your special someone.

Strolling

Cambridge is full of pretty spots to relax or go for a romantic walk.

Walking along the River Cam is a perfect date. You can see the city whilst enjoying each other’s company and it's a completely free way to spend the day if you’re short on money this month!

Cambridge has so many sites to see so exploring the city centre is such a romantic idea. Even if you’ve lived in Cambridge for three years already, there are probably parts of it you still haven’t seen.

Snapping

Looking to get a romantic photo? Here are our most picturesque places.

The River Cam is the perfect location to get that couple photo for Instagram. Whether you choose to go punting on the river or just take a stroll, find someone to take a photo for you.

The magnificent King's College is always the ideal place for a photo shoot, especially if there’s someone around to take a couple shot for you! #couplegoals

Indulging

Our go-to place for special gifts.

Lush is the best place to get your loved one a gift, because who doesn’t love a bath bomb? They even have specific Valentine-themed gifts to make it even easier.
