Evaluation and Impact of Research
This 90-minute workshop, held online or face-to-face, asks the question: what is impact?
With a focus on evaluation and pedagogic research (ped res), the workshop will enable you to:
- distinguish between evaluation and research
- identify the evaluation/research you would like to undertake into your practice
- define the evaluation/research process (relevant to your context)
- consider a range of research methods.
The workshop will engage you in:
- asking why you should evaluate their practice and the impact of your practice
- defining the research process
- sharing examples, reflective practices and evaluation approaches
- exploring approaches to evaluating institutional change initiative (Theory of Change).
