This workshop provides an overview of the aims of immunisation, maintenance of the cold chain, types of vaccines, promoting uptake, new developments, consent/legal issues and anaphylaxis management.

You will be emailed a pre-course booklet with links to relevant information, in accordance with the Health Protection Agency recommendations.

Non-medical Prescribing Updates (V300)

If you're an established practitioner, these workshops will keep you up-to-date as an effective, independent and supplementary prescriber. These informative and interactive study days will incorporate any recent legislative changes and their impact in practice.

Each session will include a professional update, a hands-on workshop to increase confidence in consultation and prescribing skills, plus plenty of opportunities to engage in discussions and ask questions.

You will need to bring your Formulary with you, as all of these workshops will involve some group work and prescribing scenarios.
