Overview

This course is aimed at ARU Veterinary Physiotherapy or Animal Therapy graduates who wish to advance and formally recognise their hydrotherapy skills through further professional development.

The course consists of two modules:

  1. Introduction to Canine Hydrotherapy and First Aid
  2. Advanced Underwater Treadmill (UWTM) Techniques and Hydrotherapy Practice

Who should attend?

This course is suitable for graduates of ARU's MVetPhys, MSc Veterinary Physiotherapy, or BSc (Hons) Animal Therapy programmes who wish to pursue a career as a canine hydrotherapist or further develop their clinical hydrotherapy skills.

Dates

The course will commence in June 2026.

You'll be able to select your preferred clinical placement dates when enrolling onto the course. Placement opportunities will be available throughout June, July, and August 2026.
