Institute of Excellence in Robotic Surgery

Our postgraduate degree is offered in partnership with East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, and based around the Institute of Excellence in Robotic Surgery (TIERS).

Our MSc in Robotic Surgery has been developed as part of a joint initiative between ARU and East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT), designed to enhance excellence in robotic surgery across the region.

Based around the newly formed Institute of Excellence in Robotic Surgery (TIERS), the primary goal is to further develop expertise in robotic surgery and to drive education, innovation and research across the field.

This is a part-time, online course with opportunities to travel to Chelmsford for hands-on experience.

Our Masters degree is designed for qualified clinicians with an interest in robotic surgery. While it won't qualify you to practice robotic surgery, it’s a primer for future specialist training.
