Develop the essential knowledge and skills you need to work as a registered mental health nurse.
Over the course of a year, you’ll learn more about assessment and care planning in mental health nursing.
Building on your knowledge of care planning, you’ll explore person-centred interventions and working with people across the lifespan. This includes a focus on therapeutic interventions.
We'll also look at nursing leadership, and approaches to reviewing and evaluating mental health care.

Assessment includes essays, presentations, exams, case studies, project work and assessment of practice competencies in the clinical setting.

Fees and funding
£6,867UK students starting 2026/27 (part-time, per year)
