Teaching and modules

Develop the essential knowledge and skills you need to work as a registered child nurse.

Over the course of a year, you’ll learn more about clinical assessment and recognising acute deterioration in children and young people.

You’ll also explore complex care needs, and learn more about factors that influence children’s and families’ health.

There’s a focus on nursing leadership, too. You’ll learn more about leading patient care in multi-disciplinary healthcare teams, and reviewing the effectiveness and quality of that care.

Modules are subject to change and availability, and may vary by location. If you have the choice of optional modules, these are indicated with a *.
