Safeguarding – keeping apprentices safe

At ARU we take our responsibility to ensure the safety of our students very seriously.

We treat everyone with respect, will not tolerate sexual misconduct, violence, or abuse and we will take all reasonable steps to keep our campus and community safe.

This extends to our students who have chosen to study at the University as part of an apprenticeship programme. We are committed to working together to create a fantastic learning experience for our apprentices, and to ensure the highest levels of safety and wellbeing.

This supports our compliance with the Office for Students’ new condition of registration on student wellbeing and safeguarding, ensuring apprentices are protected from harm and supported throughout their learning journey.
