The world is facing a food crisis. We need to produce at least 50% more food to feed a rapidly growing population of 9 billion people by 2050. The agricultural industry needs people who can meet that challenge with fresh thinking and new approaches. Could that person be you? By studying agriculture at Writtle College, you could play an important role in developing the future of British and international farming.

During the T Level course, you’ll build on your interest in agriculture, delving into core modules that include health and safety, finance and business, technology and equipment, and sustainability, while increasing your agricultural knowledge during occupational specialism modules. Our specialism modules include livestock handling and transport, grassland management and grazing techniques, plant and soil science and land and estate management.

Your studies will take place both on our Main Campus and specialist animal centres and working farm, giving you hands-on experience from the start.
