Coach and Officials Academy

In the 2019/20 academic year, Team ARU will offer up to ten coaching apprenticeships to students at ARU.

Each apprentice will fulfil the role of an Assistant Coach within one of our sports clubs, or PE teaching assistant at a local school.

You will need to commit to delivering a weekly training session during term-time throughout semester 1 and 2 (up to and including week beginning 1 April 2020) and in return you will receive a package of support. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain new qualifications and develop valuable skills, which are sought by future employers.

This year we will also be running Officials Academy, which provides both current officials and those looking to get into officiating opportunities in our sports programme. Find out more information, including details of how to apply.
