Amplify Your Network

Y10-Y13 parents & supporters online community platform

Navigating mounds of misinformation? Let us simplify things for you…

Join our online community of higher education experts and university students today for free, honest insights and advice from people you know you can trust.

Our dedicated team have a wealth of experience helping family members, carers, friends, careers advisors, and teachers of Y10 – Y13 students from diverse backgrounds, who have lots of questions, sometimes even doubts and concerns, about supporting their young people with the next steps in education. Here are a few questions we hear regularly:

  • 'How will my loved one afford to live if they choose to go to university? How do they apply for Student Finance and how much will they get?'
  • ‘Won’t the debt hang over them forever? Stopping them from taking out credit in the future, or from getting a mortgage!’
  • ‘I’m not sure they’ve got their sights set on the right course. I don’t know if they’ve chosen the right GCSEs / A-levels for what they want to do. What happens if they don’t get the grades?’
  • ‘How do I know they’ll be safe? What are ‘student halls’ and what is student life really like?’
  • ‘What are the chances of them getting a good job when they leave? Maybe they should go straight into the workplace, or opt for an apprenticeship? Could they earn more without a university education?’

With an anonymous bulletin board and small group chats in place, our experts are available throughout May – June to answer your questions and help with hot topics such as clearing and adjustment, applying for student finance, student life, support services and well-being at university, graduate opportunities, and so much more.

There are no set times, you can log-in 24/7 to post a question or a comment, and our dedicated team will get back to you.
