Yvette has previous experience working in a management and leadership role in clinical practice in the NHS. She is an expert in online distance learning having worked for Anglia Ruskin University as an online lecturer since 2004.
With over 20 years’ experience as a therapeutic radiographer in the NHS, Yvette understands the challenges faced by staff working in health and social care. Managing change and the need for service efficiency and improvement are key features of health and social care practice and this is reflected in the content on both courses Yvette leads.
Both courses Yvette leads are delivered entirely online therefore her areas of interest primarily lie in this area of educational research: specifically, developing innovative teaching and learning support for online distance learning students, helping students’ transition to university, online induction and supporting students in the development of their academic skills.
