Vani is an expert in teaching Clinical skills for adult nursing, especially NMC Pre Reg Nurses OSCE. She also does clinical work in Adult Medical Wards.

Background

Vani Shekar is originally from India. She started her International Career in the UK as a Pre-Registered Nurse in Adult Medical wards and then excelled as a Registered Nurse.

Since teaching was her passion, she got into the training team as a Practice Development Nurse for Clinical Skills and OSCE for Internationally Educated Nurse and Staffs. Having completed her Postgraduate degree in Community Health Nursing from India , she is currently enrolled into the PG Cert in Teaching and Learning in order to excel in her Higher Education role in the UK.

She has previous experience of six years in various departments such as ICU, A&E & Medical wards. She has also worked as a Vice Principal and Assistant Lecturer, training different courses in Nursing in India.
