Rebecca is a registered children’s nurse with acute and community experience, specialising in respiratory nursing.

Background

Rebecca qualified as a Children’s Nurse in 2014 and initially worked on a Cardio-Respiratory ward and High Dependency Unit. She went on to specialise as a Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist, specifically caring for children with tracheostomies and those requiring home oxygen. Rebecca then went on to further specialise in the respiratory field as a Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Rebecca has most recently been working as a Children’s Community Nurse and Team Leader, utilising and expanding her clinical skills and knowledge in the community setting. She continues to work as a Children’s Community Nurse alongside her role as a Lecturer Practitioner.
