Background

Mila is a London-based 3D artist and university lecturer who specialises in asset creation, texturing, and cinematic look development. Born in South Africa and now based in the UK, she draws on a rich background in fine art, theatre, and photography to bring a creative, storytelling-led approach to technical workflows.

After earning a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Game Art and Animation in 2022, Mila has built her expertise across tools like Maya, Substance Painter, ZBrush, Photoshop, and Unreal Engine. Her childhood passion for drawing and creating art has naturally evolved into a career crafting immersive worlds and engaging visual narratives - whether she’s designing atmospheric environments or sharing that passion in the classroom.
