Matthew is a published tabletop designer with an interest in tabletop and digital design of games. His expertise is in game design, narrative design and indie game development.

Background

Matthew holds a BA and MA in games design; he has a background in one-to-one private tuition specialising in working with vulnerable young adults with severe learning difficulties. He has worked as a freelance game designer working with a creative collective and indie studio.

Matthew is new to teaching at HE level and as such is pursuing his PGCERT alongside his teaching responsibilities.

He is also a consultant game designer on a research project looking into using tabletop gameplay as a way to help neurodivergent young adults process grief.
