Florin's research expertise is in biosciences, molecular sciences (genetics, drug discovery, chemical synthesis of compounds mimicking large biological systems, developing computer software packages with applications in healthcare), medical policies and procedures in UK and worldwide.

Background

Florin has spent most of his working life in academia, teaching courses to degree and postgraduate students and doing research and development. His areas of expertise are in biosciences (including drug discovery, wet lab and in-silico); in clinical environments he has experience with care homes and Covid testing techniques.
