Liz is a GP and medical educator leading Phase 2 of the undergraduate medical degree at ARU. She is committed to creating supportive, inclusive learning environments where students develop confidence, clinical competence and professional identity, ensuring they are well‑prepared for the realities of modern healthcare practice.
Lead for Reproductive and Sexual Health, Lead for Child and Family Health
Liz's career spans clinical practice, medical education and academic research, beginning with a BSc then PhD at the University of Cambridge followed by medical training at King’s College London. She has a strong interest in women’s health holding FSRH and DRCOG. Liz is a qualified GP and GP Educator holding a PGCertMed Ed.
At ARU, Liz leads Phase 2 of the undergraduate medical degree, with a focus on high‑quality teaching, assessment and student support. Interests include curriculum design, clinical skills development and strengthening student confidence during the transition into clinical environments. Liz is also part of our Health and Care Research Centre.
Liz has published and presented in both clinical and educational fields.
