Anusha is a senior lecturer with a wide range of expertise in chronic wound management and adult medical/ surgical nursing.

Background

Anusha is an NMC registered nurse (adult)/Advanced Non-Medical Prescriber, who used to work as a lead for tissue viability specialist nurse at an acute NHS trust. Her interests are in surgical non-healing wounds, chronic pressure ulcers and in advocating different negative pressure wound therapies. Anusha also has a strong background in Medical and Surgical nursing and have expertise in clinical education/training, staff management/recruitment and in mentoring students. Anusha still works as a TVN specialist on her free times.

Anusha has completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Post Graduate Certification in Medical and Health care Education and has achieved Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
