Reproductive health and health needs of women veterans (military and policing) in Canada and the United Kingdom

This UK-Canada collaboration is exploring the reproductive and mental health needs of women military veterans and former police officers through an online survey (target n=400). The study is currently open and seeking participants until mid-November 2026.

Participate in our research

Take our survey on women veterans' health If you're a woman aged 18+ who is serving/has served in the UK military, the UK police force, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police or the Canadian Armed Forces, you're invited to take our short online survey.

Little is known about the reproductive health needs of women who serve, or have served, in the UK and Canadian Armed Forces, the Canadian Mounted Police, and UK Police Forces. Questions remain around unmet needs, long-term reproductive and mental health outcomes, and access to care after service. Through this partnership, ARU and The Atlas Institute (Canada) seek to generate evidence that will shape future research, policy, and support.
