Are you or do you know someone who is interested in a career in policing? Find out more about how to become a police officer through the degree apprenticeship policing pathways at this virtual event.

ARU works with eight police forces across the East and Southeast of England and London to recruit and educate new police officers through two new entry routes into policing: the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship and the Degree Holder Entry Programme.

Who is this event for?

Anyone interested in a career in policing, whether they hold or do not currently hold a degree-level qualification. Our event will cover:

  • Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship – launch or change career with this 3-year, on the job degree apprenticeship
  • Degree Holder Entry Programme – convert your existing undergraduate degree with our 2-year DHEP programme.

What can you expect from the event?

A presentation to gain insights into the two policing degree apprenticeship pathways. Talks from our police partners (which ones will be confirmed closer to the time) and current police apprentice, and a chance to ask questions through the Q&A.
