You can arrange a free 30-minute face-to-face or virtual Zoom appointment with our volunteer solicitors and student advisors. This service is available throughout the year – we do not close during university holiday periods.

You can also come to our Support@Court drop in sessions from 9.30am to 1pm every Wednesday in the Cambridge Magistrate's Court where our students will provide you with information, guidance and moral support about hearings in the family court. Our voluntary students are not legally trained yet and cannot provide legal advice but they can help you organise your paperwork and evidence, accompany you into the court and give you practical and emotional support.

You can be assured that you will receive an independent and professional service. All advice, assistance and representation is given in the strictest confidence.

Please be advised that legal advice in our Law Clinics is provided by appointment only. You can receive Support@Court guidance and assistance by dropping in on the 2nd floor of the Cambridge County Court every Wednesday from 9.30am–1pm.
