I'm studying BEng (Hons) Electronics and Robotics at ARU, and wanted to share information about the engineering facilities here - specifically, I’ll be sharing my experiences of the Mechanical Engineering workshop.

Our workshop is fully equipped with the right machines and with the assistance of our technicians, whatever project you might want to develop, a solution will be found.

I'm a first-year student and in my first trimester, I was assigned to develop some components for a joystick remote to control a robot. I found this project interesting not just because of the theory side of it, but mostly because after learning, the fun side for me began when we were allowed to practice. I got to use machines like 3D printers, CNC and more.

There is definitely so much to learn and even better, more to practice with and help you become an expert. If you love and enjoy getting your hands 'dirty' you are looking at the right place!
